Our functional tests.

  • GI MAP

The Gastrointestinal Microbial Assay Plus (GI-MAP) measures gastrointestinal microbiota DNA from a single stool sample and detects microbes that may be disturbing normal microbial balance or contributing to illness. This functional test also measures indicators of digestion, absorption, inflammation, and immune function.

Tests for: Parasites, Bacteria, H. Pylori and virulence factors, Fungi, and Viruses.

Markers: Beta-Glucuronidase, Occult Blood, Calprotectin, Steatocrit, Elastase, SIgA, and Anti-gliadin IgA.

  • Mediator Release Test

Oxford Biomedical Technologies' patented Mediator Release Test (MRT) is a food sensitivity panel that gives insight into inflammation-provoking foods and chemicals and helps identify the best foods for you to consume, translating your test results into targeted therapy.

The MRT tests up to 176 food and chemical sensitivities, quantifying the inflammatory response through a green/yellow/red score. Unlike IgA food sensitivity tests, the MRT accounts for clinical and subclinical inflammation.

  • Dried Urine Test for Comprehensive Hormones (DUTCH)

The Dried Urine Test for Comprehensive Hormones (DUTCH) offers the most extensive profile of sex and adrenal hormones along with their metabolites. Additionally, the daily (diurnal) pattern of free cortisol is included, along with melatonin (6-OHMS), 8-OHdG, and six organic acids.

These markers provide insight into nutritional deficiencies, oxidative stress, and help explain common conditions like PCOS, insulin resistance, irregular periods, endometriosis, erectile dysfunction, and symptoms like weight gain, sleep troubles, acne, and more.

  • Glyphosate Test

This is a single-marker urinary test measuring glyphosate levels. Glyphosate is the world’s most widely produced herbicide and is the primary toxic chemical in Roundup™ and many other herbicides. It can enter the body directly through the skin, by eating foods treated with glyphosate, or by drinking water contaminated with glyphosate.

Studies are uncovering the damaging effects of glyphosate, specifically on the gut microbiome, which is foundational for brain, immune, hormone, and detoxification health.

  • Metabolic Wellness Panel

The Metabolic Wellness Profile (MWP) is a dried urine test measuring levels of Indican, Total Bile Acids and 8-OHdG. These three key metabolic markers offer insight into digestion, detoxification and oxidative stress. More specifically, the MWP reveals how the digestive system is breaking down protein, how the liver and other detox organs are managing one’s toxic load, and the rate of oxidative cellular damage.

    Markers:
Indican, 8-OHdG, and Urinary Bile Acids.

  • Mucosal Barrier Assessment

The Mucosal Barrier Assessment (MBA) is a comprehensive gut health assessment through three key markers: Zonulin, Histamine, and Diamine Oxidase (DAO). These markers offer insights into gut and immune function by measuring the health of the small intestine mucosal barrier. Intestinal permeability or “leaky gut,” nutrient absorption, villi-integrity, immune activation, and inflammatory processes are all reflected in test results.

Markers: Zonulin Family Peptides (Zonulin FP), Diamine Oxidase (DAO), Histamine, and DAO:Histamine Ratio.

  • Comprehensive Thyroid Panel

The Comprehensive Thyroid Panel with Antibodies & Reverse T3 goes above and beyond routine thyroid tests, which only measure thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH) and total T4. It gives a comprehensive view of thyroid function by measuring TSH, T3 (free and total), T4 (free and total), reverse T3, and anti-thyroglobulin and thyroid peroxidase antibodies.

    Markers: Anti-TPO, Anti-Tg, T3, T4, TSH, fT3, fT4, rT3
